During the summer months, the artist stood in the woods for an afternoon and tried to get the mosquitoes to bite the backs of her legs in two straight lines. The lines are similar to the stitching of stockings that women used to draw on their legs in the 1930s due to the shortage of nylon.

About Song Lang:
Song Long was born in 1998 in Jiangsu, China. Her works are concerned with the relationship between people and their living space. She enters a variety of realistic scenes, prying up the usual experience through the alienation of life details. She disrupts and reorganizes the daily routine, and develops conceptual output in a playful or poetic way with a carefully created sense of dissociation.
